Noise: Scraping sound
02 GT I thought it was the brakes. Replaced all the rotors pads and front calipers. Right caliper was sticking. Pulled wheels off and check the dust shields. No rubbing. Exhaust was not the issue either. On the driver side with wheel on or off you can hear a scraping sound only in one spot when turning the axle 3/4 of a revolution. No end play on the rear
While driving it just gets faster. Take it out of gear and the noise continues.
Wheel bearing? U-join?
My truck made the same noise and the local transmission shop replaced the u-joint and the noise was gone. I was thinking the same thing again, but the car only has 27523 miles on it. Former garage queen old lady car
Thanks in advanced for the input. Cheers
