Was wondering if anyone here on these forums has installed these headlights, and what people think of how they look.

They will be going on my 02 Sonic Blue GT if I decide to get them.
Have pics in my gallery, do not know how to post pics yet :P
Anyways, how difficult are they to install? I am a novice in the world of cars, but love them to death.
And what do you guys think of the style?
Lastly, any pics of some? I know the site has a customer pics section, but most of the pics are not that great.
Appreciate all the responses in advance.

Personally I don't think they look that great on the sn95, s197 on the other hand looks great. If you do do them make sure you get HIDs too. Good luck.

Well now I will sound completely stupid, what is the difference between those two? S197 and the other? I am trying to learn more about mustangs, but it is taking time.

Nvm, figured it out :P Yeah, I see what ya mean. Maybe the black stock lights would be a better pick? And they are a lot cheaper.

If you like the Halos, get the halos....alot of people HATE them, but the converse is true also. Go with what you like. I have smoked Halos on mine, the halos are more understated than those, but thats my preference. Install is easy. The lights themselves have 2 pull tabs each on top. Pull them out and the lights come right out. Remove the bulbs from the sockets and uninstall is complete.

Now installing Halos is a bit trickier because you have to splice into the parking lamp harness. The Brown is power and the black is ground i believe. You can use insultaion displacement splice connectors (not recommended) or cut the wires and splice in. (the better choice).

Do recommend HID's as well(esp with smoked headlights), but thats another question for another thread.

The 99-04 Mustang has to have the easiest headlight removal/installation of any car I've seen. My last Mercedes you had to remove the bumper to remove the headlights.
