Hi Guys

So i bought a 98 Mustang GT about 6 weeks ago.

Car is very clean - was owned by an older guy since new and I am now the second owner. He took care of the car extremely well and documented everything.

So I installed a new audio system as the stock Mach 460 was not doing it for me.

Having a bit of a blonde moment I forgot to disconnect the ground after moving my car and went to cut the stock wiring harness and caused a short.

When i open my door the light on the roof doesnt come on, remote locking doesnt work as well as my speedo...

Anyone know wheres the best place to start doing some damage control? I checked the fuses and only one was blown... but according to the owners manual it is for the power seat... which still works with the fuse in or out so im very puzzled...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Same symptoms, no radio, door locks or speedo. Any findings?

The cluster could simply be blown, they are a little touchy. The best thing to do would be to pull the buster, and wire in a multi meter into the signal wire input and go for a short drive, if you're getting voltage through the wire, then its a blown cluster, if not well, lets cross that bridge later...
