Blinker keeps ticking when off. Help!

Blinker keeps ticking when off. Help!
Does anybody know what could be wrong. I turn off my blinker and I can still hear it ticking and it appears the blinkers stay on outside as well? It also seems that wen i lightly tap the brakes, it affects the blinker?
Any help would be appreciated? Perhaps a fuse?
