AT THE STRIP TODAY
Well I did a 12.603 at the strip today. I only got 2 runs in. I wanted to see at least a 12.5 but I'm close. Tommorow's the last day for test and tune so I may go back to see if I can get a little better time in before times up. I'm pretty sure I can get into the 12.4's. I'm too old for this ****. : )
Almost forgot 111 mph.

great work man...hitting 12.6 is great all you need to do to get 12.5 might be as little as no spare tire, 1/8 tank of gas, jumping the light.....good luck in the 12.5s i hope to hit 13.5s never thought a second difference could be so much

Reaction time matters because in a drag race it's first to the end. It's not the person with the best time and on occasion the person with the best time doesn't win. IF you pull a .013 reaction time and he pulls a .400, you've got 3 tenths on him already. If you run a 12.4 and he runs a 12.2 you still win.

Matt is right. At a test and tune I just leave when I am ready (not saying I sit there for 5 seconds or anything) I just focus on other things, like getting my launch right and so on.

Of course reaction time matters if you are actually racing (such as bracket, grudge or any type of heads up class) my point was when you go to a test and tune who cares what car is next to you, your there to practice with your car, get a time and try to improve, not race every car you get lined up with.

Yes I knew your R/T does not count as part of your time. Actually on the 12.603 run I red lighted. Kinda funny too because the guy next to me was in a 2005 GT and he just road slow to the line like he won or something. I guess he did in reality but I wasn't racing him. I think he was just pissed because he knew I was going to spank him like a little girl. LOL
Anyway I'll try to post my 60ft later. It's still in the car.
