RE: nitto 555r's
Ive heard the best are BFG or M/T. But nittos arent horrible. Im thinking of going with them myself. The cheapest place ive seen them so far is www.discounttiredirect.com

RE: nitto 555r's
I ran those at the strip today and they hoked up very nicely after a 3 second burnout and don't spin much at all cold. I got 2 for $350 at discount tire direct. I believe they are the longest lasting drag radial but from what I here they do not hook up as good as BFG or MT's.
Nitto's are supposed to last 15k for normal driving (who does that?)
BFG's & MT's are supposed to last 7K

The sound is pretty good but I wish it was a little deeper. Sounds real good at low RPM`S. High RPM`S, kinda loud inside when windows are closed. When car is cold, it sounds kinda whiny. But when it warms up its ok. I got the xpipe from rpm outlet for 450 and the american thunder from summit racing for 360. There is a possibility that I might change the xpipe to an H. Im waiting for my friend to get his catted Hpipe on his 03 thats on back order and wont be in for 2 weeks. If I like the way his sounds over mine, then I may go with the H. My xpipe may be for sale in a few weeks. One good thing about this xpipe is that I didnt need mils, but o2 sensor extensions are a must.

The xpipe is supposed to make more HP than the H. But ive heard that theirs not much of a difference throughout the powerband. The mils are used for a non catted mid pipe. They connect to the rear o2 sensors. This will fool the computer making it think the car has cats on it. Therefore the check engine light will stay off. But their are some cars with a aftermarket catted midpipe that make the engine light come on for some reason. You can get a tuner instead and completely shut off the rear o2 sensors th keep engine light off. You would use your o2 sensors from your stock midpipe. Dont need to buy new ones. Just nees extensions.
