Default '04 2v into '01 GT

Had to get a new motor for my car (see previous thread) since I didn't want to fix my old one and it had more damage than expected.

Found a replacement 2v out of Wisconsin with 40k miles and got it ordered and came in yesterday. This motor apparently came out of an automatic 2004 GT. Motor has pink injectors and the manifold that fixed the alternator issue or whatever. I figured any motor from an automatic would fit another automatic?

A friend of mine is saying I'm going to have issues with the flexplate. Is this true? What's different on the '04 motors? I was planning on getting everything done this weekend (car isn't running) so I'm hoping this flexplate issue isn't gonna screw things up for me. If it is an issue can I get this part from Ford or any auto parts store?

If the bolt count matches your old one it should be fine. Should be 6bolt if I remember

Thanks guys, it all bolted right in. The motor was actually from a manual and came with a clutch lol.

Are these bigger injector gonna cause any problems?

If you run different injectors that aren't matched up to your MAF, you could have issues.

He is having issues lol

Why he didn't swap his 19# injectors onto the new motor is beyond me.

It didn't come with a MAF so he used his 01 MAF. Knowing him he'll probably run it like this until something breaks lol

How bad is this? I didn't get the new MAF with it. Should I just get a new MAF or should I switch over the injectors? My idle is kind of low and feels like its gonna stall, I'm guessing this is caused by my injector/MAF difference.

I sell the old motor tomorrow so I don't know if I should keep the injectors or not. Would I gain anything by having these bigger injectors on a stock motor or should I just put my old orange ones into it?
