hold your left foot on the brake and give the car a lil gas, maybe 3k rpm's and let off the brake. might take a little bit of practice to get it right

with stock tires on a manual GT, what rpm's should i launch at? It seems that if i lanch at anything but idle I spinn the tires all the way through 1st gear and some of second.

No. That doesnt happen with mine. I get some spin but it grips before i shift into 2nd. What kind or gear set up do you have in your car?

i launch my stick gt at 1300, its perfect only spinning for a bit then i hook up, no bogging either. Still got the tires it came with.

car is stock besides chip and intake.

i have launched at idle before, but that was in the winter, in -5 degree temps and it hooked really good.

Did you buy your car new or used? Sounds like your gears are not stock gears. Theres really no way you can spin like that with stock gears.
