I have LEDs in my cluster. I have an aftermarket white face cluster that has a blue film. But from what I understand the stock cluster in 99-04s have a green film so if you were to put in white LEDs it would still glow green. But then I also heard that the stock cluster has a blue film and the stock yellowish lights make the clister glow green. So idk what to believe lol

Stock cluster has a blue film, so when you put white LEDs under it, it glows blue.

You know you can find those LED's elsewhere for about $8 plus shipping, right? All you do is take out the incandescents and put in the LEDs.

Which LEDs are needed?? I'll tear the dash apart to get rid of the boring "Ford Green".

Stock cluster has a blue film until 2001 1/2. After that 2002 and up have a green film. They also changed the bulb type in this year as well. I know because mine falls on the newer side of 2001 and the parts I ordered for a 2001 were wrong. So be aware that 94-mid 2001 are NOT the same as 2002-2004.

I thought it would be a pain in the a** do replace the bulbs but this makes it look simple. I think I will give it a try.. 1 question though my dash looks green so I imagine after the LEDs it will still look green? Any way to change it? but I do have a green stang though so should I leave it green? But Blue looks super nice!

You can sand off the colored layer, then buy blue LEDs.
