i replaced the intake manifold on my 03 mustang gt and now my car does not idle correctly. when it starts the car stays at about 2k rpms. the car doesnt idle steady when out of gear and stopped. also the car will accelerate to 34 mph by its self

I assume from your statement "...the car will accelerate to 34 mph by its self" that you have an automatic transmission. Next, with what intake manifold did you replace the intake on you '03 GT?

Also, did you disconnect the battery for at least 5-7 minutes when/after you changed the manifold?

The battery was only connected when i wasnt working in it for my locks. manual transmission accelerates in 2nd and higher. I replaced with a oem pull from a same year gt.
