Default cobra wheels on 96 GT

So, I've come to find out that the cobra wheels I purchased are the wrong lug pattern for my 96 Mustang..

Are there some wheel adaptors I can use to make these fit? Which ones do I need? Are they expensive?

Thanks

this is the only pic I have of the wheels to give you guys an idea of which wheels I have. I can get a better picture or the stamps inside the wheel if needed.

The kid I bought them from said they came off his mustang cobra, which seems to be an unlikely story now that I read the stampings on the back. Slick.

Apparently, they're copies. I should have read the stampings on the back of the wheel before I purchased them.

Can someone translate these stampings for me to give me an idea of what vehicle these were made for?

This one reads, 17 x 7 1/2 x 43mm.. 17inch tall by 7 1/2inch wide x 43mm offset.. I don't see a bolt pattern anywhere on these wheels. I am thinking these wheels are 5 x 5 1/4...

Good thing I only paid $250 for them because they're actually in pretty good shape, only one with slight curbage on it.

Is that the only stamping? This one says nothing about the bolt pattern. You are going to need a wheel spacer if you use them because of that offset.

Why not just measure the lug spacing? http://www.myboltpattern.com/Measure-Bolt-Patterns.php

Well using that guide I got 4inches from the center of the two studs, multiply by 1.05 = 4.2? So I'm thinking They're 5 x 4 1/4.

I have a couple more pictures to show how close it is, but my studs are just slightly more far apart than what the wheel accepts, leading me to believe they're for sure 5 x 4 1/4 bolt pattern.

Are these wheels designed for a Thunderbird? What other model vehicles will these fit? I'm thinking about just trying to get my money back at this point, but I might also consider some wheel adaptors... Any suggestions? Much appreciated!

Am I missing something because they look like they fit to me. Every wheel I have ever put on has not been centered until the lug nuts are on

they are 5 x 4.25 bolt pattern, not 5 x 4.5.
