I think they sell what they call "splice"- sp? MILS...with those you have to splice the wire and tight it together with electric black tape, those are $24.00/pair vs $60.00 for the plug in ones..

for example..

Splice --extrememly cheap!!

BBK plug and play---59.99

Good luck w/the x-pipe you're getting. I have not had the opportunity to hear the Magnaflow x-pipe, but I will say that I love my Bassani. As someone mentioned...look at the Dr.Gas x-pipe though. You'll not be dissappointed. I wish I'd have waited, because every bit of power helps.

As for the MILS, you should not need them, but I have HEARD that some of the Bassani x-pipes w/cats have still eventually had "check engine" lights come on. I've been fortunate, & I doubt you will have a problem.

Are you going to do the headers?

Yeah eventullay I will be getting long tubes. But that's not going to be for awhile. I got the xpipe because I am only paying 1/3 of what it is worth. To good to pass up and will satisfy my power needs for alittle bit.

if you are getting long tubes then get a shorty x-pipe. Otherwise you'll have just wasted your money no matter how good the deal on that system.

I know go with the shorty. I don't plan on getting headers for a couple of years. I'm not trying to build the car overnite. Just over time. $150 for a couple of years seems like a deal for 6 or 7hp anyway you slice it.

I'm not trying to build mine overnight either, just over the winter. I don't plan on keeping the car much longer than '06 anyway. I want a C6!!!!!!!!
