Default Need new motor mounts

I had to change out my T-45's pilot bearing a little while back and while I was under there I noticed my Cobra's motor mounts are pretty well thrashed. I know there a few different kinds I can choose from to replace the old ones. My question is are there any that are better than others or I guess any I should avoid?

If it makes a difference this is my DD.

$39.99ea - But I'm not sure about these part store "OEM" replacements Anchor 3002 - Engine Mount | O'Reilly Auto Parts

Good rule of thumb is that if you don't like added noise, vibration or harshness stay away from Urethane things where there was originally rubber

I didn't really notice much NVH going to poly, haven't had any issues with them either

crysalis_01,

I hate when you are fixing one thing & it leads right towards another part that needs some attention! However rest easy that AM's got your back!

The stock factory motor mounts use a rubber bushing that deteriorates over time causing excessive engine and drive line vibration, but a new set of Urethane Motor Mounts will reduce this vibration, and will last years longer than rubber.

Our motor mounts are crafted from Steel and Urethane our Motor Mounts are much more durable than the stock rubber counterparts and will give you years of trouble free driving.

I'm confident that you'll be very happy with either of the above products. I recommend Urethane so that you never have to go back in there, if you go with rubber in a few years they could start deteriorating again.

I hope this helps, let me know if I can be of any assistance!

(PS- We offer a 6% forums discount for all active posting members with a minimum of 50 post! We offer this to give back to our fellow mustang enthusiast to help soften the price a bit!)

I went from stock to poly motor and trans mounts and could feel the difference when driving. Not much but it was noticeable.
