NEED HELP - Identify TWO THINGS IN MOTOR - Picture Inside
Hi all thanks in advance i love this forum lots of help.
I have here a picture i found it's the same motor as mine.
I have circled two parts A & B
What is A ?
In regards to B it goes down to a slot that looks just like A and plugs in in the same manner what is that? I got a new PVC valve and put it in all the way down at the end of the B line. What does B connect to and whats the name of all the parts of B.
THANKS !!

Ok on B it went all the way to an end that look just like this. Is this the PCV Valve?
On my 2001 GT where is the PCV Valve? Driver Side or Passanger Side cause if it's on the Driver Side i just put a new PCV Valve on the wrong place but fits perfectly.
The NEW PCV Valve i bought looks like the one in the 2nd Picture Below the one i took out from the end of hose B is the one in the top picture.

B is the hose to the PVC valve, from which the crankcase nasties are sucked into the intake.
A is the entry point into the drivers side cam cover for metered fresh air from the post-MAF intake tube. It is "make-up" air for the excessive volume extracted via the PVC valve--if you follow the tube "backwards" you will find that it connects to the intake tube.
