Nitrous q's
i have a 97 cobra with flowmasters, cai, offroad H pipe, and soon gears. Well i was also thinkin about nitrous. My car has 87,000 miles but still runs strong. i was looking at zex dry nitrous kits with about a 75-100 shot. I know it is gonna be hard on the car but are, but am i gonna blow the thing up. i think it would only have about 350-360rwhp with that shot. i my self think it would be fine but others dont.

so what is your question?... am i gonna blow up? no your not gonna blow up they have plenty of safety features w/ nitrous these days. and second it wont do any harm to your engine if you use it properly. and a 75 shot to 100 is fine after that your gonna need a tune to stay safe.

a wet kit has the nitrous mixed with the fuel already while a dry just sprays into the cylinder and uses the fuel already in there. thats what i understand someone else can porbally explain better. generally you can spray higher shots and its suppose to be a lil safer even though its all pretty safe these days. cost a lil more to

A dry kit relies on your injectors to produce the fuel. A wet kit gets the fuel from somewhere else. your injectors can only handle so much so if you decide to do a big shot you'll want to use a wet kit or direct port.

The wet kit also avoids a lean condition which could scrap the motor. I don't know about yours, but from '98 on, the passenger side fuel rail has a schrader valve that can provide fuel.
Are the '97s 4V? If so, I know someone with a kit for sale which came off of a '98. He ran a wet shot of 150. That put him in the neighborhood of 505 bhp. He hated to sell that car.
