Default No bass from speakers..

So guys, yesterday I removed an aftermarket radio out of my 98 mustang 4.6l GT. And I took an Alpine radio out of my 95 dodge avenger to put in the mustang. Switched them out perfectly, the Alpine works and all in the mustang. But there's no bass... at all. I can put the bass halfways or all the way and put the volume on 15 and get nothing except a tiny bit of bass. In the dodge, it'd be on 15 and the bass was already insane and I had no subs in it either, just Pioneer aftermarket speakers, and thought maybe that was it.

Also, I'm not sure if it had good bass before I put the new one in or not... Just trying to figure out what the issue might be. Any help? It's much appreciated.

Did you get the harness that integrates the mach 460 amps?

Nope because he said with it having an aftermarket radio already in it, I wouldn't have an issue. But maybe he just didn't know what he was talking about?

You still need the right harness. Call crutchfield. They hooked me up when I put in my CX501

It depends on how the aftermarket radio was hooked up. Did it look like it was hooked up to the stock wires or did all the wiring behind the HU look aftermarket? More than likely you just need the proper harness.

Just a different question...how do you get rid of that weird sound when you turn the car on. It happens when the stereo is turning on I haven't figured out why it does that...
