This may be a stupid question, but if I wanna fatter stance in the rear, can I grab wider tires or do fat tires need an equally fat rim?

I think the chin spolier would help. On my car with the chin spoiler I think it would be ok to put a hood decal, not sure I like the hood scoop decal but I think hood would look good.

I went with a 285 tire in the rear and it was still under the fender (wish I had gone with a 315).. Being cheap I bought a 1 inch spacer to bring it out a bit..

I think Jazzer has a tire thread with proper sizing for each wheel width. 8" is the width of the stock wheels. The biggest you'll want to run is a 245. Anything more than that is pointless supposedly. Stick with the recommended tire sizes for each wheel width.

And yeah these laser red cars look good with black wheels/accents. I bet you had no problem finding pics of my car on this forum haha.
