Default grinding T45 transmission - why is this happening?

I have noticed when I try to put my trans in reverse, that it grinds unless I move the car forward a bit first. I also get a grind occasionally when I go into 2nd or 4th.

I am not sure why this is happening, I push the clutch all the way in always. I was thinking of replacing my clutch quadrant with a double hook billet one, as well as replacing the clutch cable and installing a firewall clutch adjuster. I am also going to replace the trans fluid with Amsoil ATF.

Any other suggestions as to why this is happening? The car is a 2000 GT 5 speed with 52k miles on it.

Could be your fluid level. Check and make sure your trans is at the proper level. Over or
.uderfilled can make it grind sometimes. More of a nibble, but its worth checking before you start replacing stuff.

Mine does that occasionally, especially going into first while decelerating if I leave it in 2nd, then try to go to first it grinds and I get made fun of.
So now I go from N, to 2nd, to first. No grinding. Going into reverse I go from 1st to R, no grinding.
Hope this helps, I have a 2000 GT with the same mileage! Craziness!
