Default new maf and injectors

ok..... i found out that i already have a 90mm lightning maf on my car earlier this weekend. but i was looking and can get this at a good deal so i was wondering.... if i got a new maf and injectors would i be able to put these on my car and not have to tune it and be able to drive it because the maf will be calibrated for 42lb injectors already?

are you running stock injectors right now? i think 42# would be a little overkill. on a n/A motor, if the MAF is programed to 42# and you are using 19# it wont run well at all, you can keep the 90mm maf and just get it programed to 42# injectors.

within a month i will be supercharged. thats why im getting some 42 lb's, getting prepared for it. will my car run good at all with the 42lbs with the maf or will it run like crap? that of course is with the maf calibrated for 42lb injectors. my times dont seem very impressive so i wonder if the maf is holding me back? also, my car gets sucky gas mileage, like 14 mpg. could this be from the maf?

The stock 80 mm MAF is good for at least 300+ RWHP, or something close to that. So your 90 mm MAF wouldn't be holding you back. I that is what most of the blown GT guys are using for their MAF. Once you get it tuned after the blower everything should work fine.
