Default questions on PI swap

Well in my 99 mustang gt it is a non pi and i was wondering if i could buy a police interceptor motor and take the heads and intake off and put it in my car but idk which year that was started with the PI motor in the interceptor. I just wanna know which years had the PI motor and if it is able to be swapped, i just mainly care about the heads and cams, the intake i can get easily off the internet fairly cheap used or new.
Thanks

If you have a 99, it is a PI engine.

Completely agree. But anything above 99 are PI heads. i think 99 - some of 01 are windsor heads. 01 - 04 are romeo but i may have it back wards.

He already has PI heads, the difference between the romeo and windsor has no power gain, i think the valve covers bolt on different and thats about it.

^this is true. also the cam gears are pressed onto the cams for windsor models. the romeo cam gears are bolted on the cams. as for the cams themselves they are identical when it come to the grind.

ALL 99 has PI heads. The only way it doesn't is if someone put the heads on or swapped the motor.
