Default Flywheel questions

Ok so my clutch went out w/ my tob and pressure plate on the cobra and I purchased a ram Powergrip HD clutch kit(rated to 650whp). I believe the clutch is disc is 11". Does this have to be coupled with an 11" flywheel or will 10.5 suffice. Also what flywheels are recommended for this setup. Im thinking about going with steel for price and durability. This will be on just a bolt on car making 457/475 Thanks!

heres a link to product description

I would just get a matching flywheel from RAM, do it once and be done. I'm not 100% sure but I think there flywheels have removable friction material as well.

It does have to be 11", that size is the friction surface...not that actual outter dimensions of the flywheel.

Yes it does have to be 11" to match the clutch, its usually best to match the clutch brand with the flywheel brand, but you can also look at spec flywheels or fidanza.

Gonna be tough to get anything locally beaides a stock specification replacement unless u have speed shops around that stock 4.6 ford stuff, most places will prob have to order it in. Unless your close to summit racing.
