Default Hey there!

Hello all,
I am new to the forums and thought I would post a hello! I bought a new '04 GT about 7 months ago and I am eagerly awaiting tearing into it. I have owned 5 Fox GT's and loved 'em all.

I am at a point where I am wondering what I should do first:
Exhaust? Intake? Cam? Heads?

I would like to do all four but I have been out of the loop for what is good on the new stangs. Any Recomendations?

I built my '89 GT convertible a bit. It had new heads, cam, off-road x-pipe, flowmasters, King Cobra clutch, cold air kit, and cobra upper/lower intake. But that was some time ago and I am sure things have changed.

I am eager to get working on it, So I would love to get some feedback as to what you guys think would be best?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

intake and exhaust are good first mods for these cars. Gears and tuning help alot too. Check with you dealer to see what they are OK with as far as your warranty goes.

I will move this thread into 4.6 for you so you can get some feedback.

Exhaust: longtubes and Off road mid pipe if you can do it and anythign but flowmasters. Then go gears and maybe some cams and a good tune

I'm not an expert on it but I don't think heads and cam do a whole lot for the new 4.6's, you're better off to save up the big bucks for a blower.
