Default 97 Starter Removal

Any tips? Haha pretty simple question I know. But I have seemed to be able to get the bolts off and the starter is loose. However it seems impossible to turn it the right way to get it out. And also impossible to remove the wires from up and behind the starter. Any tips?

You need to remove the red wire going to the starter, and the small black one.

Take the wires off and it should drop right out.
