RE: good amount to pay for gt?
Hey yeah...
Not bad on that ebay 94.
Its priced realistic anyway....
some things I see:
1. The wing. I like the stock one better.
2. Auto tranny? Power windows, locks? Not for me. More stuff to break.
3. What is that nentendo controller looking thing? For the CD charger? That has to go. We have iPods and XM radio now.
4. Now after seeing it. The ascetics of the engine compartment sucks compared to the 4.6. Looks like the hoses and wires were routed by someone’s nephew. In fact, it lookes like the same engine compartment found in my 86 towncar. Bet the plugs are a chore to get to.
I'm thinking the 95 uses coil-packs vs. a distributor, but maybe I'm wrong there.
Still, thats a total find even with 150K miles.
Crate motor for that thing (if the engine is tired) is $1595. I had the tranny rebuilt (I'm guessing the same AOD) in my lincoln with shift-kit and cooler for under $800.
Cars are SO expensive now. That thing + fresh engine is a realistic downpayment on a new car if you don't want to be overfinanced. And after you buy it, no more payments

RE: good amount to pay for gt?
I llike the 94-98 body style over the fox or 99-04
Except, I hate the ford taurus looking lights on the sn95
I like the 05 the best.
I'm the same way about jeeps. I liked the YJ more than the TJ, but never liked the lights of the YJ.
