Default 98 CEL P1445 How to repair

So I just bought a 98 GT today...stock it had a 4.6 in it but the guy who had it put a '02 Crown Vic Interceptor in it. So it's a 4.9.

The CEL is on, and it reports P1445. Looking around it appears to be purge flow sensor high, is this correct?

How would I repair this?
Also, a belt seems to be squeaking. How to tell what is causing it.....

Shoot! I meant P1442. Not 1445. Sorry

Don't know where the "4.9" cam from? The 2002 Interceptors had 4.6L 2V engines, tuned to 235/275 fwHP/lb-ft (a bit less than the Mustang's 260/300 ratings). Here's a link to Ford's flysheet for the 2002 Interceptor.

Are you sure you don't mean P1443? Here is what the shop manual says about P1443, it's an EVAP system trouble code.

The belt is loose, contaminated with oil or coolant, or just worn out--or any combination of the above...

Belts new....stops making noise when it gets warm but boy does it make a racket in the cold AM.

Yea...I started digging around on the CV engine...seems like they only did make a 4.6. Wondering why the seller told me it was a 4.9. Kinda agitated about that. Never the less, the car runs awesome if you wanna play in it :P

Another thing, I took it to my normal mechanic (Who does my daily driver cars....not my projects), and he couldn't even talk to the computer with his scanner. But the little cheep-o scanner the seller had would read it fine....

Because he exploited the commonly held, and incorrect, belief that the Police Interceptor packages include higher performance engines than otherwise available. Truth is the PI package engines are usually tuned down a bit to make them more suitable for idling for extended periods, with the AC on...

Yep....never the less...the car runs great....only paid 2200$ for it and its by far the fastest car ive owned. Plus, I wanted to find SN95 with a blown engine to put a rebuild project into, so I guess I found it
