Default Which Oil to Use?

I have a 1996 Mustang GT with 100k miles on it. I think the owner's manual says 5w30. I live in Florida, so it's never cold here. Can I just use the 10w30, or should I just buy the 5w30?

I know you can run 10w30 without any problems, that being said i would personally just run 5w30. Thats what engineers decided is the proper weight for the engine.

I run only Mobil 1 full synthetic or Royal Purple 5w30 , depending on how much i feel like spending at the time of my oil change.

I run 10w30 in both the 01 gt and 03 gt.

10w-30 here, regular valvoline, not synthetic, and a motorcraft filter
