t-45 to C4 swap

Default t-45 to C4 swap

just sold my t-45 and just bought a rebuilt C4 trans good to 800 hp. what all do i need to perform the swap? what spline yoke, can i use stock driveshaft with a spacer? IN NEED OF HELP!

The C4 isn't electronically controlled like a 4R70W, so you'll probably end up running a manual valve body is my guess. This is going to be a pretty expensive setup. As far as parts you'll need, too many to list. lines to the trans cooler, flexplate, some sort of adapter plate, custom length D/S, custom fabricated cross member, shifter, a lot of research, ect.

Why not buy a 4R70 and build it? Much better transmission.

its already set up as a manual valve body. I'm pretty sure that i can use my stock drive shaft with a spacer, and i need a 28 spline slip yoke. its gonna be a weekend/drag car, considering its gonna have 700+ hp... fun street car
