I bought a summit o/r h-pipe and it sounded da** good. Probably the only thing on my car that hasn't given me any problems over the last couple of years, lol....

Bmac82,

You can't go wrong with Pypes, BBk, or JBA. All three of them will meet up to any of the mufflers you have now, since they're fitted to the factory H-pipe. My personal opinion is to go with the cheapest priced of the three (since they're all decent quality) and bolt them up with some MIL eliminators (since they don't have catalyst converts), to keep any engine lights from coming on.

We can help you both with the MIL eliminators and the O/R Hpipe with free shipping! Let me know if you have any more questions about which to chose or anything else!

I like my mac mid pipe. They are also pretty cheap. Like Shane said you will need either MIL or a handheld tuner to turn off the CEL. Also, you wont be able to pass emissions with an o/r mid pipe.

If you're referring to the MIL eliminators, than yes! They're very easy to install if you have access to a jack and stands. It's just a simple plug and play setup between the sensor and it's connector, on post cat O2's.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I got a Pypes O/R x-pipe coupled to a Magnaflow Magnapack cat-back. Booted up to factory manifolds. I get compliments on it wherever I go. And yes it is loud. Funny thing is I've yet to be stopped for it. Lets just say my friends can hear me coming (under moderate acceleration) from a little over a mile away Hears a listen of a set-up like what I've got:

Copy and paste into ur address bar. Mind you he's using a BBK O/R x-pipe. But the sound I'm getting is 95% identical. Click on the gray bar and it'll take you to Youtube. For some reason the video isn't showing up, enjoy.

How about the actual H pipe itself? Is it basically just bolt on?

yes the H-Pipe is bolt on. Be sure to soak your manifold to mid-pipe bolts good with penetrent. And BE SURE and put anti-seize on the studs when re-installing. Also, if you've ever thought about replacing your O2 sensors, while doing the exhaust would be a perfect time to do it.
