Those of you who have assembled your motor.

Which book did you use, or where did you get your torque specs, and bearing clearances? Just wanting to see what others have used, I've got everything but my piston rings for my bottom end, and am just waiting to get everything balanced once I have my rings.

chiltons, has the majority if the info you need. First chapter is about engine rebuild for 3.8, 5.0, 4.6, they depict the 4V but that's ok.

I have the factory ford tech manuals, theres like 5... but they are for the romeo's... anyone know if the bearing clearances, and torque specs are the same? I know a few things changed...

The Sean Hyland books are good. Also check to see if your local Library has the Chilton Manuals on line. You will need a Library card for that option but the Chilton Manuals are great

Worse comes to it and your stuck autozone can look it up on their supercomputer! LOL

Chiltons or Haynes manual. I can't remember which.
