Default Clutch problems, any idea what it could be?

Just the other day, all of the sudden my clutch started making a nearly unbearable squealing noise. I had a similar problem a few years back, same noise and grinding sound, but now if I hold the clutch down, the car stalls.

This didn't happen last time, so I'm wondering if its the same problem. Last time I believe it was the throwout bearing, because I can get one for free if that's all the problem is.

I really dont feel like shelling out the cash (which I dont have) for a whole new clutch if I dont have to. Unless I can find a mechanic who is an addict who will do it for dirt cheap. I can get each part individually for pretty cheap also, if I know what it is. I could probably have a shop to look at it, if I can find one that doesnt charge a bs fee for it.

Any help would be really appreciated, I need to get this fixed asap as driving on this thing is a nightmare. I have to time my gas and shifting perfectly or I will stall out in the middle of the road upon a start. Its not like I can just stop driving my car either, I have to get to work and make money somehow..

I would lean towards a throwout bearing, but as far as the care stalling when u press the clutch in is strange Does it only stall pushing the clutch in when its in gear and at a stop, or will it do it with the shifter in neutral also?
