Default 2001 Mustang cobra has no power!!!

Hey you guys, I just bought a 2001 mustang cobra with 111,*** miles on it and doesn't have any power in the low rpm's. Then when i'm on 4th gear and slam on the gas, it seems to want to bog down then accelerates. I can also hear a minor misfire too. I recently installed a JLT cold air intake and the check engine light came on so I took it to my pepboys so they could scan the code and pulled out two codes: P0171 and P0174 and told me about too lean bank 1 and 2.
I looked them up on line and tried replacing the 02 sensors and spark plugs but didn't help.
Any help or ideas would be great! thanks

A CAI is going to need a retune on a V8. Without it you are running your engine lean (thus the OBDII codes) and risk blowing the motor.

Did it run OK before the JLT?

If spark issues were a possible issue, I recommend replacing the plug wires and coil pack. I have had a couple of v6s die completely at around those miles because of bad plug wires and coil pack. I just replace them out of habit around then and usually find the cars run better.

I will let the Cobra experts weigh in from here..

Good luck

What would be my best choice? Taking it to a performance shop to get it tuned or buying an sct tuner?
What also wonders me is that it still ran about the same when I had the stock intake on it.

If it ran like this on stock intake then the intake isn't the problem.

Op sounds to me like u need to pull he sparks plugs. Then post pictures of em so we can see what hey look like and go from there.

I would try n Give the car a tune up and then c what it does.

And you don't need a tune for a CAI

Check for rotted vacuum hoses, you may have a vacuum leak. I had to replace a couple on mine this past summer.

The spark plugs (motor craft) are good. My mechanic replaced them about 2 weeks ago. I do hear a little misfire when it's on neutral.
Another problem i had was when I was on third gear, i popped it into neutral to make a stop and it turned off on me?

Check vacuum the stalling could be caused by a vacuum leak.
