Unhappy Rear Caliber Replacing

Does anybody know how to do it in extreme detail, or have any videos on doing it? I got the caliber off from the brake line and the rotor, but can't figure out how to remove the parking brake lever cable.

First, make sure the parking brake handle is down.
Then, remove the return spring using a screwdriver.
Grab the end of the cable with vice grips and pull out then sideways out the slot.

I tried that but the cable seems bigger then the pathway given by that the piece of metal that wraps around the cable, also how do you slide the cable out of the hole it's secured in?

Also here is a picture of the caliber itself. [Stock photo]

Ok, I get what you're saying.
I just removed mine this week and although the pathway is tight, the cable was installed at the factory through this opening.
If you need to, try and open the "C" channel opening a bit. Using vice grips, clamp on the outer edge of the steel and the heel of the "C" and pry outward.
You shouldn't need much movement to allow better access for the cable.

Once I remove that piece, does it just slip out of the hole on the caliber?

Yup.
At least on mine, there was no kind of clip or anything else holding the cable body. It just pushed out once the ferrule (end) piece of the cable was free from the mechanism.

There looks like a green plastic stopper on mine, with a small clip on it.
