So I have a 2003 Mustang GT. I have had it for about 6 months it has 102,200 miles on it. During the past week I have noticed when I press the gas petal that the car jumps. It dosent sound like it is gettiing all the gas that it is supposed to. It jerks forward in little sperts. Then last night I was at McDonalds and I noticed that it was making a slight chirpping/tapping noise. I just had the oil changed last week. I check it every morning before I crank it car up. I have checked the transmission fluid but I just dont know what to do.

Is it an auto? I've had a couple automatic cars in the past, and when the tranny starts to go, this is usually how it starts.
