Default Suspension setup for street/strip

Hey guys I dont have a ton of money to spend on this but I was thinking if I lowered the front about 1-1.5'' and left the rear alone it will have that raked out stance. I did 265/45/16 in the rear with the Track/Street tires and leaving the 225/55/16 in the front. I am doing sub frame connectors as its a convertible. I have the front strut bar brace and am building a rear one as I cant find one for a 1998. Any idea if this would be a ok setup?

Some UCA's and LCA's probably wouldnt hurt to get the power to the ground

Ah after some google'ing I see the rear arms like to flex, I found some nice tubular upgrades for 175 bucks. I will add them to the list!

"raked out stance"? It's 2012 not 1980
Or is this awful trend coming back?

Well I am buiding it to be a street strip car not a car for back roads and road course racing, so I figured having the rear up a little higher will help with launching at the track. This is not an import so I dont see the need to slam the whole car.

Theres one thing highley overlooked here, by slamming the front end ONLY ur adding some way bad pinion angle which isn't good for hooking up at the track. IDEALLY if leave stock springs all the way around and run solid lowers and adjustable uppers, dial it in for -2 pinion angle, run a good adjustable shock like the strange10 ways all the way around and a big sidewall tire for traction and to fill the wheel wells. Best bang for the dollar.
