bassani mid length/ catted x
Hey everybody, ill start off by saying this will be last post on exhausts, i promise.
Its just frustrating not knowing which way to go especially in such an emission restrictive state. My thinking is i cant go longtube for inspection reasons, and shorties yield no gain, so maybe mid lengths with a catted x from bassani should do?
Future plans include 3.73s, a whipple SC, forged 4.6 mmr shortblock and some stage 2 blower cams (maybe stage 1), just so you guys know what route im taking my car in.
The catted x also comes with delete tubes, wouldnt use them probably but thats a pretty neat option.
So im thinking as long as i put this setup on with a borla cat back, i should pass emissions and the sniff test and i should be okay...hopefully.
Any reviews on these products? leaks, concerns? how are gains/sound?
Thanks,
Mike

In supercharged situations Long tubes have proved to be the best .. Shorties and mid-lenth are mainly tuned for high rpm which long tubes flow good bottom end and good upper and do some research on what brand you get to find out if you ever have to pull your trans that if headers have to come off .. I know bbk has to come off and hooker , Slp and kooks don't .. I found out the hard way .. My buddy has a 97 cobra with stock manifolds and catted magnaflow X and magnapack cat-back and he passed emissions and his car sounds BAD/***
