I'm glad somebody asked. I wanted to know too.

HAHA...hard to ask those newb and fashion-trendy questions, ey? I always thought burning out was like demonstrating the power of a huge lion by having it chew its own leg off. Personally, I'll keep my tires, save the money I'd spend on new ones because I melted mine, and buy some racing slicks. I'd rather chew on others. :-)

haha, i took the traction control off this moring turning left into the parking lot to where i work and reved it up a little and dumped the clutch and weeeeeeee, i did a nice little fish tail. This is my first RWD car so it was a really cool feeling! And i have only owned this car for 2 days.

do a donut. it's like your very own roller coaster. it's the same as a burnout, but turn the wheel. oh, and make sure it's in a very empty parking lot so you can't hit anything.

How about at the strip with drag radials or slicks or even street tires?
I have done it a couple ways with my auto trans on drag radials. I back a little into the water if at all and then pull out and hold a brake torque in first and then switch to second if I don't forget, but I wonder what is a good speed to hold it at for proper heating up? It always seems like I'm spinning but not smoking as much as it seems like I should. Maybe I get my tires too wet or don't pull out of the water enough or even spin at a high enough speed. What is a good speed and how long for proper heating is my question. Of couse I realize people with different HP require different amounts of traction.

the reason that there is not that much smoke is that you went into the water, if you going tru the bleech box, i spin then till they start to smoke, then wonce they start hold the burnout for a nother couple of seconds. then i let go of the pedal and let off the gas till half troddle which moves that car up about 10 feet then get off of it completly.
