Default Need new tune after Power pipe install???

I have a vortech supercharger running 9 psi, non intercooled. Want to install a power pipe? Do I need a new tune? My car has a nice safe tune right now, and runs great, I would rather not mess with the tune

No re tuning needed. Put it on dyno to see what you gained MB.

I installed one last summer. Your MAF will read more air & adjust injectors accordingly. You will gain about 3/4 - 1lb of boost.

I was surprised @ how much more you can hear BPV open/close and the air getting sucked in after install. You DEFIANTLY can feel the increased torque thru power band.

Enjoy!

IMO i would get a supercharger then a power pipe.

But I would definitely get a power pipe, I have one and I plan to run one on every blower I run.

Well I was just checking, not everyone is correct? Doesn't hurt to get another opionin.

From what I've read, it's best to retune after install, and I'm pretty sure I have a vortech V1, thanks

If you read the plaque in your blower it says if you have a v1 or not.

Also you should be able to tell if it is a v1 by the sound.

My tuner did not retune my car after the powerpipe and I ended up getting another 24HP out of it. Throw it on and see what it does.
