How easy is this and how do I do it? Do I just pull on it and it comes out or what?

pull on the consule aroudn your shifter it will pop out and then you should be able to get to the shifter boot....

unscrew your shift **** (just twist it counter-clockwise). then grab the plastic that surounds the boot and pull it toward you. be careful but your going to need to pull it kind of hard. the boot is connected to this plastic and it will slip off the shifter arm. You will need to unhook the accessory outlet (just press a screwdriver into the little leaver thing)
