Default What type of exhaust/CAI is this?

So I'm a new Mustang owner (about a week now), and the '03 GT I purchased from a dealership has aftermarket exhaust and CAI. I have no idea what manufacturer it is, and the dealership didn't know either.

I didn't embed the pictures cuz they are huge files, also I know they're not the best pics of the exhaust but I don't have time to get anything better this weekend. :/

Any help would be appreciated! I can also get a youtube clip of how they sound if that will help too.

95% sure this is the CAI: http://www.americanmuscle.com/mugtv8pocoai.html

I just realized how obvious that was. But I'm still very unsure of the exhaust!

Welcome! Judging by the welds I would say they had someone weld in some chambered mufflers of some sort and some tips on the stock exhaust. It is hard to tell from the pics. Good choice on color!

The mufflers look like Flowmaster, if they are, most manufacturers stamp their info on them. At least all the ones I've had.

Mid pipe is stock but Cat Back does look like a Flowmaster

The CAI looks like one off EBay. They help on air flow into the motor.

Actually they don't, they net zero gains over the factory tube.

Those that are just pieces of straight-wall tubing can rob power--also note how the tube between the MAF and TB is necked down to 75 mm (maybe less) just after the MAF--which is 80 mm. It then is necked up again at the TB...

My '03 had a setup like that when I got it, I found a stock intake in a local bone-yard and threw the shiny thing in the trash.

Thanks for the help guys. I like the way the exhaust sounds right now; is there any point in considering a new exhaust system?

@cliffyk: I'll look into getting a stock intake. Then I just need to get an aftermarket filter to see gains?

Not really, there are no gains worth the $$ (or at all) to be had with any aftermarket CAI or filter. Relation the the engine's needs neither the stock intake or filter are unnecessarily restrictive.

I made 262/305 rwHP/lb-ft with the simple mods listed below, a tweaked tune, and the stock intake with a Purolator paper filter.

Take a look at the Where to Start with Bolt-ons "sticky" if you want to add power...
