A rattail file will do it--make it bolt up that is, still won't be right. Get it bolted up and drive it to a frame shop, they will be able to figure out what is wrong; though it may not make any sense to dump more money into the car.

Personally, and were I 40 years younger, I would be back over where I bought it grabbing somebody by the neck...

Believe me I've thought about all kinds of revenge. I called the P.O....the car came from a junkyard. The convo wasn't pleasant.

I'll try to get it "together" today. I'll take it to the frame shop when I get my tax return. I can't afford to call this car a loss. I have to at least try. Overall it's in pretty good shape.

OK I just seen you are worried your frame is bent because of the Rad support. Those things get bent all the time because idiots jack up the front of the Mustangs with them. I truly believe your worried about nothing.
If you want to make it so the trans bolts to the holes that Ford intended on the all you have to do is get a Tail section from a GT T45 and pull the one on the car off and put the GT tail section on. I personally wouldn't worry about it

I agree about the rad support. I had a jack slip once and bend one.

The problem is the side to side alignment of the trans, I can not get it to bolt to the crossmember...it's off to the side. I do hope you're right.

Also going to add, as embarrassing as this is, I didn't know until last night this is a "reconstructed vehicle". The seller insisted we use his friend as a notary because he wouldn't charge us anything. The notary was a bit tricky when it came to the "salvage/reconstructed bill of sale". He slid the paper my way with the actual title covering the top of the paper that said what it was and simply said "I need you to sign here"...young and dumb..this was the first car I ever bought from someone I didn't know.

After going back and looking at it all at bottom of the title, in black print(doesn't stand out at all like would think it should), it says "Reconstructed Vehicle".
