Default Heater core leaked/replacing Intake Manifold

So yeah was driving home and the nipple on the intake manifold for the heater core (I believe) busted and then cooler splashed on my windshield and then shortly died on me. I know I need to replace the intake manifold, is there a writeup for it or is it fairly simple? Also I've read that fluid may have leaked in the engine? Saw somebody say they took the spark plugs out and cranked the engine to push fluid out of there? Is there a trick to that or is that true, I've never done/heard of something like that.

Yes if you have gotten coolant in the cylinders you can spin the engine with the spark plugs removed to remove it. Make sure all your coil packs are unplugged so they don't arc.
