I've not used the MGW. The shortest I've used is the Pro5.0 with their original handle. I never had any trouble nailing gears with it, but the position of the handle on the UPR shifter is more comfortable. (and just as effective at banging perfect powershifts)

I really like my Steeda Tri Ax (sourced through MRT). Which ever one you buy make sure you remove the shift stops. The Tremec 3650 has internal shift stops and both Tremec engineers and Scott Hoag recommend NOT using shifter mounted shift stops on the 3650.
If they are adjusted incorrectly, the transmission will not engage gears completely and damage the transmission.
