Oh Well here I go again going to look at a 01 for $2500.00 He claims he dropped a bolt while replacing the intake.

I like you, got wife, two kids in college and one in high school, more time and tools than money.

Will keep you updated

I wouldn't spend a dime over $1200 for that car.

Thumbs up

the one for 2500 could be a simple fix if he is indeed telling the truth about the bolt then it most likely fell in the intake port you may be able to fish it out with a magnetic pickup if he didnt turn the motor and pray it didnt get past a valve depending on position of cam and the size of it or head removal will be in yours or the next owners future ...goodluck

Well here’s my latest update the 01 for $2500 was trashed the car had dents on both sides right below the rear window. Someone had done an engine swap and forgot to put most the car back together, that along with a bent valve no thanks. Just looked at a 96 GT for $2500 has an AOD with trouble, when you are in drive it starts in 2nd, but if you shift it down in 1st gear it appears to be normal. Possible bad Solenoid? I will just keep looking

Damn man, that sucks. I am having hell getting rid of my near perfect 96 GT vert at $3000 and they are asking $2500 for broken stuff.
