Can i put the seats from my 97 into a 01? do the bolt patterns match?

if im not mistaken, 79-04 seats will interchange IF the seat tracks are attatched. if theyre power seats, you will have find a way to wire them up. the main difference between the seats is how the receiving end of the seat belt is attached. i think 99-04 it is to the seat tracks while the 98 and earlier are to the floor

You're right. If you swap the whole track, you are ok from 79-04. The 99-04 mount to the track, the 94-98 mount to the floor.
