Low beams not working after HID uninstall
Hey all, long story short, I bought the stang and only one of the headlights had HIDs (but both fogs have them). The low beam on the passenger side didnt work (but the HID on the drivers side does), but both high beams work. so in order to get it inspected I just bought some sylvan is bulbs to just disconnect the HIDs. After disconnecting the ballast on the driver side and put in the bulb(also replaced the passenger side for good measure), I found out that now neither low beam works, but both high beams do work.
Since I didn't originally install the HIDs maybe I missed a step where the switch was somehow disconnected? If you guys have any advice I could use it ASAP so I can get to DDing the stang!! thanks

I have the same exact problem. Someone else installed HIDs on the car before so with them in only the P/S low beam works and both work on high beam. I have been fixing everything else the other guy screwed up. Please advise if you figure it out. My guess is that when they wire in the ballast they bypass something in the circuit.
I might look at mine tomorrow so I'll pass along the info if I figure it out.

Haha, like an idiot, I took the ballasts out, traced all the wiring. then decided to check the fuse box, mine was just one dumb fuse for the passenger side, and a poorly spliced wire on the drivers side. New fuse and just fixing up a bad splice from before and they're fine.
