Hey there guys, just took the Mustang out today to the local shop to have them look it over for when I get it out in the spring. Just to tell me what it may need for inspection. Everything checked out, but one thing. Now when I purchased the car 4 years ago I knew that the passenger side fuel tank strap support was pretty rusty, well today when I was under the car found that it is completely rotted through and that I now only have one strap supporting my tank. Drove down to the local stealership and found that this part I'm after is a complete assembly for the rear floor pan. Ford part #11215, it lists for $1,7xx and thats the entire pan. I just need the small support that seems to be welded to the rear frame support that runs around the spare tire well. Now I am aware that the SN95 is generally a foxbody undercarriage with minor alteration, other than that of the sheet metal. My question is now, where would I be able to find this part that I am seeking. I've been all over the net for it and nothing has come up for it. Is this going to be to the cost of buying a rear passenger quarter from a yard and just using said part? Or can you direct me to where I may be able to get this from a foxbody parts site. Im at a loss here and its the only thing holding me up from driving the car this spring/summer/fall.

Get a shop to weld a new sheet metal strap up there, wrap one side in rubber like stock, drill a hole in it for the bolt and voila.
