springs
i'm going to buy new springs. I'm thinking about gettin saleen springs. My question is i dont have the money to get new shocks and struts, so i was wondering how long i would be able to keep the stock ones on? my car is a 02 gt and it has 40,000 miles

RE: springs
when you put the springs in the front your gonna need an alignment when you put the struts on your gonna need a new alignment. so you can save your self about 50 or 60 bucks and an honest shop you will save a little on the labor for installing the struts at the same time since they will be half off the car any way.

RE: springs
you should be alright with just the springs as long as you dont drop it more that 1.5". When you drop it around 2" then its required to go with CC plates and all that good stuff. When you just drop it around 1.5" you can still keep all the stock bushings, ect. I got the Eibach kit last year and I only did the springs (for now) and I havnt had any problems. Just make sure to have it aligned afterwards like mentioned above.

RE: springs
it would probaly help, two of my bodys with mustangs put those springs on. they said that they have a lil better traction, then they both went to upper and lower control arms, and took off the quad shocks thats probally ur best option for better traction for street use

RE: springs
maybe if you got the eibach launch springs it would help your launch. however the launch springs wont give you much of a lowered look. These eibach springs that yall are talking about really wont help your launch if anything make it worse id think. but if you want that lowered look its a must
