this is in refference to the saleen rear window--- there is a filler trim piece that makes the same curve as the stock stangs (94-04) but it changes the way the body itself looks... now this mught be doemb but why is this there? is it just to be different and prove its a fake or real or is this just piece of molding you can buy?

if so its just body styling.

The difference is part of the saleen one is black, the other is solid color.

EDIT: Like stickshifty said it is just body styling, just to be different. And you are right that is how you can spot most replicas.

yes--- that is exactly what i am reffering to.... it doesnt seem to be just a stick in. it looks like a whole different plastic body piece--- almost like it deflects a little bit of the air caught in the window...
