you shouldnt have any problems with the hood shaking. Personally ive had mine up to 145 and other than there being a ton of wind noise, there was no shaking or vibrations. +1 on checking the latch and the bump stops.

the hood isnt shaking, just seems like the vent is.

im not trollin, the 97 is just a different animal completely to me.

Remove the hood insulation, remove screws or tabs, strip double sided tape. Reinstall with larger hardware. Or swap hoods, idk I like mine without a scoop.

LOL, I've done it so I know it to be true. 2:73 gears on a stock wheels. ...sorry, it was lowered w/ the Eibach Prokit and had flowmaster catback.

The day I did it, lol.
