Which ones?

The stickies are there because we had 40,000 repeat threads daily.....

The idea is to *cut* down on repeat threads, since so many people were pissed about n00bs not searching for threads that have been done 40,000 times before.

The repeat threads aren't crazy like they used to be.

Those stickies have got to go, they are taking up more than half the page.

The stickies should only be more forum admin stuff.. like stated before people are always going to post questions in new threads... and face it we don't regularly check the stickies so why should we expect some new guy to have to wait days or weeks to get a response to a common question that maybe wasn't covered in the sticky?? Besides new ideas / products are always coming out so it's good to keep getting updates etc from new threads.

who are you to tell them how to run their site? i see you haven't been here that long, but people kept asking for these stickies, then when they get them, everyone wants them down. all the sections have gone from almost no stickies, to lots of stickies, back to no stickies, back to lots of stickies again. why? because people complain when there's 5 threads on the same topic, then people like you come in and say we don't need these stickies.

^^in reference to Dave2000GT^^

Everyone complaining besides David_K all have a low post count, so I'm willing to be most of you never saw the repeat and annoying thread madness.

If you give me some suggestions, all the mods are willing to come up with a solution. I believe the 'thread per page' was changed so less threads would load to save bandwidth maybe, not sure yet, still checking on this...
